Dietary Department  
 
To maintain an international standard of dietary services with competent food service personnel involved with food preparation and to provide nutritious meals with quality and the right quantity of food to promote client satisfaction.

Message from the department head
The Food and Nutrition Services Department welcomes you to the riyadhcare Hospital. Nutrition is an important part of health care, and our goal is to provide quality food and service throughout each patient’s stay with us. This means much more than three meals a day. In addition to delicious and nourishing meals delivered to patients’ rooms, we offer a variety of services to help our patients regain and maintain their health.

The Food and Nutrition Services Department staff includes a number of clinical dietitians – experts especially trained of nutritional science, health maintenance and patient education. Our dietitians provide extra nutritional support to those patients who need it most. They are also available to teach patients about special meal plans and dietary restrictions. Patients who would like to learn more about their diets may ask their doctor or nurse to contact our dietitians.

It is a dynamic and evolving department that encompasses food services, clinical nutrition and patients meal services.
