Medical Records Department is committed to provide quality patient information to all authorized users of medical records and to provide prompt medical services to all authorized department for the care of all inpatients and outpatients.

Equipment & Technology 
  • Computers with Network to facilitate the outpatient registration information are
  • printed in Medical Record Department Dispatch section to reduce the delay in retrieval of the outpatient record for the treatment.
  • Outpatient and inpatient section is equipped with Electronic Data Processing
  • Movable filing system is maintained.
  • Dictaphone (Enterprise Express Voice Clients) is used widely in our hospital to
  • reduce the time consume for completion of the record.
     

Message from the department head
My staff and I give a warm welcome to all Medical Staff, Administration, Nursing service and other ancillary departments especially for our customers. We, in Medical Record Department stand for the good quality of Patient Care and Service to the administration as well as provide accurate data for those who are seeking for the patient care and third party payers. The department is upgrading according to the international standard of keeping records and clinical details. All clinical data’s are indexed and ready to use, I can say it is the best place for researchers, Post graduate and undergraduate students studies. Our department is equipped with Transcription service with wide range of Dictaphone System (enterprise express voice clients) and I proved to say the incomplete records are completed without delay and it will facilitate the patient care team and third party payers. The diagnostic index is maintained according to the ICD-9 CM and ICD-10 is under process to keep up to date standard. All information is automated by our hospital Management Information System Department and the confidentiality of the patient information is highly assured in our department. “ Good Medical Care generally means Good Medical Record, while an inadequate Medical Record may reflect poor medical care” the riyadhcare Hospital patients records always remain in good quality. Hence, our hospital is one of the pioneers in Saudi Arabia for patient care.
