The Quality Program
for the hospital is based on Joint Commission International
Standards and through, Aramco Company, the ten-step model for
performance measure.
The strategic
direction involves assessment, planning and evaluation as
illustrated in the attached flowchart.
The key aspect of
getting the quality message out there is a Quality Improvement
networking system, created to have experts in their field of
work.
In-service
training specifically for these Quality Improvement
representatives is based on the hospital quality program, which
is then disseminated and implemented within their areas.
Occurrence
Variance and Accidents - A hospital-wide system that records all
incidents within the hospital and initiates timely investigation
and preventative action.
Annual Quality Forum creates a
learning environment and the spirit of competition with a QI
poster competition based on the current Quality theme.
